It is with great sadness we advise the passing of former Federal President of the ALAEA and part of the team that founded the Association, he was also Federal President when we formed AEI.
When the then Federal Secretary left he simultaneously took on that additional role.
A former member of the RAN Fleet Arm and senior engineer with Ansett, he took on the role of a Maintenance Forman when he left the Executive.
Without his dedication we would not exist, he mortgaged his own house to save the ALAEA from bankruptcy and fought to save all that our Licence represents when the regulator sought to remove the qualification of a LAME.
Highly respected by his peers and his employers, his contribution to the welfare of LAME’s is unique and well respected.
