Notice 005/2018 – ALL MEMBERS – Former President Paul Cousins
The Federal Executive notes with sadness the onset of a life-threatening illness to past President Paul Cousins. The ALAEA shall offer the Cousins family the assistance of ALAEA staff and/or Officials in the management of his affairs both during and post illness.
NOTICE – 004/2018 – ALL QANTAS BNE HM MEMBERS – RDO PAYOUT MEETINGS
Next week the ALAEA will be entering the Qantas Hangar facilities to meet with members to discuss a suspected breach of the Enterprise Agreement whereby Qantas had been paying out RDOs each year at single time when we consider the RDOs should have been paid out at double time.
Notice 003/2018 – Jetstar FWC Hearing
We met with Jetstar in the FWC last week and as per the hearing, they were requested to formally outline their position to us in writing by last Friday. They were a bit late with the letter but here it is. We have to respond to them in writing now and will be working on that ever the next few days.
