We recently put a call out to members for more ALAEA Reps. At a meeting of the Federal Executive this week, 9 new members were approved for the role. This notice with Rep contact details has therefore been updated to reflect the changes.

This week we had a number of meetings with Qantas to discuss rostering, leave burn and other related matters. I thought it would be timely to provide some feedback to you all.

As we get stuck back into our tasks for 2015 we have been reviewing our list of Representatives across the country. In some areas we have good coverage but overall we think it would be invaluable to expand our team of people on the ground and call for members who think they would make good advocates to stand up and lend assistance as ALAEA Reps.

Qantas Technical Salaried Staff members are reminded to cast a vote for the proposed  Qantas Airways Limited (Technical Salaried Staff) Enterprise Agreement 10 (the Agreement). The vote opened on Monday 19 January 2015 and closes at 1600 (AEDT) on Thursday 29 January 2015. We urge you to vote.
