The ALAEA and Snap-on are teaming up again to provide an opportunity for AMEs and apprentices to apply for the ALAEA/Snap-on Sponsorship 2026. Any AME or apprentice who is currently working in the industry is able to apply. See the Sponsorship notice and application form for details. Entries close on 15 December 2026.
If you have a good AME or apprentice working with you, encourage them to apply. They will need 2 LAMEs, trainers, or managers to provide a written reference. There is a good chance that those who supply the reference will be contacted regarding the applicant.
The ALAEA is concerned about all aspects of the aircraft maintenance industry. Providing encouragement and support to those who are aiming to stay in the industry, and possibly picking up a maintenance licence, included. Snap-on, the premium supplier of tooling to the aviation industry, and who are very generous partners in this Sponsorship, hold similar views.
