AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE COUNCIL – THE COMPETITION
The ALAEA is seeking expressions of interest from members to represent the ALAEA at the 2026 AMC Competition, to be held in conjunction with MRO Americas in Orlando, Florida, from April 20–23, 2026.
We are also pleased to announce that Team ALAEA 2026 has once again partnered with Snap-on Industrial and will have their support throughout the journey.
Five positions are available on the team, consisting of three B1 LAME’s and two B2 LAME’s.
Members from airlines, regional carriers, general aviation, and rotary-wing sectors are encouraged to apply. We also welcome those who have applied previously to reapply.
The ALAEA has competed in the AMC since 2010, consistently performing well as a team, building friendships, gaining unforgettable experiences, and having the opportunity to use and see the latest in aircraft equipment and tooling.
The competition is open to teams of certificated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Inspectors, and students enrolled in FAA-, EASA-, CASA-, or equivalently authorized schools. Personnel from any country’s armed forces involved in aircraft or spacecraft maintenance are also eligible. Uncertificated Aircraft Technicians and Engineers employed by MRO/OEM companies may also compete.
The AMC is an opportunity for today’s and tomorrow’s skilled aviation maintenance professionals to test their abilities against those of their peers.
Reasonable funds for travel, meals, and accommodation expenses will be provided for the team; however, participants must arrange their own leave from work.
If you are interested, please complete and submit the attached form no later than COB 14 November 2025.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
As many who have previously participated have said:
“This was a highlight of my career.”
