The Australian Licensed Aircraft Engineers Association (ALAEA), founded in 1964 to represent and empower LAMEs, is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for our members.
As a leading organisation in aviation industrial and regulatory matters, the ALAEA continues to grow while remaining true to its roots. Our membership includes over 90% of LAMEs employed in regular public transport and regional airlines, with strong representation across General Aviation. We also welcome technical and engineering support staff, bringing our total membership to more than 3,000.
To reflect our growth, professionalism, and enduring commitment to the aviation industry, the ALAEA is inviting members to design our new official logo.
Competition Details
Theme
The logo should symbolise the strength, unity, professionalism, and history of ALAEA members across all areas of aviation. Designs must incorporate the ALAEA colours: purple, gold, and black.
Eligibility
Open exclusively to current ALAEA members.
Prize
The designer will receive a $500 voucher and formal recognition in ALAEA publications and announcements.

- High-resolution file (PNG, SVG, or PDF preferred)
- A short explanation (2–4 sentences) outlining the design concept
