Dear Members,

 

I’m very pleased to let you know that we kicked off our member roadshows in Melbourne last week. We were able to meet face to face with over 100 people interested in the future of the ALAEA, and the feedback we’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive, with topics discussed ranging from changes within the organisation, to enterprise agreement and industrial updates.

 

We’ll be in Brisbane this week as per my previous notice, and then in Adelaide on the 25th of August, Perth on the 27th of August, Sydney on September 1 and Darwin on September 3. Details are as follows.

 

 

Adelaide

These in-person gatherings will provide an opportunity to meet members of the Federal Executive and leadership team, and to share your ideas on how we can continue to improve our service to you. Importantly, these sessions are open not just to current members, but also to prospective or former members – or anyone with an interest in the future of the ALAEA.

 

Please feel free to print this notice and post it on your workplace union noticeboard. I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible. Hopefully we’ll be able to catch as many of you as possible either going to, or leaving work, or those who’d like to come in for a chat on their day off.
