Dear Members,
As you may be aware, the election for the position of ALAEA Federal Secretary was recently conducted through the Australian Electoral Commission. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to participate in the voting process.
I wish to inform you that Luke Murray has been successfully elected and will serve as the Federal Secretary of the ALAEA until the next general election in mid-2026.
I understand that many of you have been frustrated by the lack of communication from the ALAEA Executive in recent months. Unfortunately, during elections, we must comply with legal restrictions that limit certain types of communication. However, with the election now concluded, we can move forward with clarity.
Luke will be reaching out soon to outline the structure and direction of the ALAEA moving forward.
