Dear Members,
It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of one of our brothers and my dear friend, Adrian Dessaix (a.k.a. Ticka).
Ticka was not only a brilliant Avionic L.A.M.E. but also one of the finest blokes you could ever hope to work alongside. His ability to stay cool under pressure—no matter how tangled the lines got—made him a true asset and a pleasure to be around.
In the 30+ years I’ve known him, I can’t recall a single moment when he lost his cool or spoke ill of anyone. He was a true gentleman, and those of us lucky enough to call him a friend will feel his absence deeply.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Rest easy, mate. May the waters be calm, and the fish always biting. We’ll miss you.
I don’t have any details about the funeral or memorial at this time, but I will share an update as soon as I learn more.
