We are pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Snap-on/ALAEA Sponsorship Award: Apprentice Tori Hayes of Qantas Airways, Brisbane, and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Jake Staudinger of ASL, Sydney.
Tori and Jake were selected from a highly competitive field of talented Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and apprentices from across Australia who participated in this year’s rigorous selection process. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the aviation industry distinguished them among an outstanding group of nominees.
Each recipient has been awarded a Snap-on tool package, including tools and cabinets as pictured, in addition to $1,500 to support their ongoing professional development through tools or further studies. They will also receive 12 months of ALAEA membership upon attaining their Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) qualification.
We extend our sincere congratulations to both recipients on this well-deserved achievement.
The Association gratefully acknowledges the valued support of our General Aviation Councillor, Chris Burleigh, and Michael B. Collins of Snap-on Industrial, whose contributions were instrumental in making this award possible. We also thank our ALAEA members for their continued encouragement and thoughtful support of all nominees.
Finally, we express our sincere appreciation to Snap-on for its ongoing commitment to the aviation industry and its dedication to supporting the next generation of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
