The ALAEA Qantas EA Committee met today with Qantas management to address the negotiations for EA 11.
Again, discussions centered around our claim regarding the proposed wage system restructure.
Management appeared receptive to the concept within the context of the added detail that we provided.
Our next meeting will be for two days on 30th & 31st January 2019 where we will aim to have a clearer picture of how the negotiations will progress.
Until then your Executive reps, Mark Gant, Chris Burleigh & Brett McClenahan will be analysing the Data provided by Qantas to determine the cost and Superannuation implications of the proposed structure.
