It is with much sadness to inform you that Paul Turner passed away over the weekend following a short battle with Prostate Cancer.

Paul began his ‘Aircraft Mechanical Engineer’ Apprenticeship with Qantas at Mascot Jet Base Sydney, in 1991 and took VR in 2016.

P.T as he was affectionately known, was an absolute gentleman that made friends easily, he greeted everyone with his welcoming smile and relaxed demeanour.

Paul was highly regarded by all his work mates, and will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind loving parents, a brother, two beautiful young children and countless friends.

It is a timely reminder for us all to be proactive and have regular prostate check-ups. As engineers we should understand the importance of preventative maintenance.
