It is with regret that I pass on the news that our previous long term Industrial Manager Brian Farnham passed away suddenly last week.
Brian retired in July 2003 after 22 years with the Association and returned briefly to help out a couple of times in the following years.
During Brian’s tenure he witnessed the introduction of a deregulated industry, privatisation and merging of the two government owned airlines (TAA & Qantas), closure of East West Airlines, Air Queensland, Compass Mach 1 and 2 and Ansett Airlines.
We have been advised that a Funeral will be held for Brian:
