Engineering Manager





• Report to the General Manager and be a HKCAD Form 4 holder


• Provide leadership and strategic direction of the Engineering Department


• Develop and review the maintenance procedures in order to achieve good maintenance practices and compliance with HKAR requirements and ensure that work is accomplished tothe highest standards of   airworthiness and workmanship


• Prepare annual budgets and be responsible for maintaining oversight of the performance against the stated budgets


• Ensure that all maintenance is correctly certified and that all records of maintenance carried
out are retained safely and securely for the statutory period


• Report to the manufacturer and HKCAD any condition of the aircraft or component which
could hazard safety


• Ensure the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance by establishing a
programme of training and continuation training using internal & external resources, on the
job training and examination & testing as necessary


• Review the contents and procedures of the Maintenance Management Exposition (MME) and
Maintenance Schedules and amend as required by the Manufacturer, Quality Manager and


• Ensure that adequate workshop area, tooling, manuals & spares required to perform the
maintenance tasks as laid down in the MME is available


• Develop, review and maintain a system of controlling tool calibration, stores procedures,
maintenance planning, component / parts ordering as required by the MME


• Ensure that the Company has suitably qualified and trained personnel to carry out a
Maintenance Review and issue Certificate of Maintenance Review for each aircraft





• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in a senior engineering or management position
within a Part 145 environment


• Be of a competent level expected of a HKCAD Form 4 holder
• Holder of a valid HKCAD Maintenance Licence and working experience in MD902 will be an


• Fluent in both written and spoken English


• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and familiarity with quality systems


• Proven record in building and leading a high performance team with excellent interpersonal
and communication skills as well as demonstrating effective interaction with regulators and


• Detail-oriented, excellent management skills, strong business acumen with financial literacy
